Laura, recognized as a Top Agent by Washingtonian Magazine, is licensed in the District, Virginia and Maryland. She represents both buyers and sellers and known to be a tenacious, unflappable advocate for clients in this region’s ultra-competitive real estate market.  Laura’s clients laud her “unflagging patience and perseverance” and her ability to skillfully and calmly handle challenging negotiations.

Laura was first bitten by the real estate bug when she and her husband began searching for their first home soon after moving to the District in 2005. Following the purchase of their home—an 1882 Queen Anne Victorian row house in Dupont Circle—Laura continued to (obsessively) review real estate listings daily and attend open houses on weekends.  After several years of this, Laura decided to transition into a career in real estate, teaming up with her broker, Judy Cranford, at Cranford & Associates, Inc., a Washingtonian Magazine Top Agent.

Before she became a real estate agent, Laura worked in higher education at some of the nation's top universities, including Vanderbilt and Georgetown. At Georgetown, Laura was a senior member of the admissions and outreach team, where she honed her skills in communications, marketing and client service, that now serve her well as a real estate agent.

When Laura is not working, she can be found tending her garden, walking her rescue pup, Finny, around the Dupont Circle neighborhood, or grabbing dinner and a glass of wine with her husband, Ike, and friends.
